Growing a Company
While Earning My Degree

I'm Brianna Stinespring, a sophomore Accounting major at High Point University with a minor in Women's Leadership Development. I also run a company, Parkevo, which I co-founded to make parking easier to navigate. I believe more women should have the chance to build companies, make decisions, and own what they create. I share what I'm learning along the way, from entrepreneurship and investing to content creation, staying active, and self-care.

What matters to me

I grew up in Bel Air, Maryland. What interests me about business is what happens after the exciting first idea: working through the numbers, listening to people, and making decisions when the answer is not obvious. That is why Accounting and entrepreneurship both make sense to me.

I want more women to understand money and see themselves in leadership. There are many ways to have a say in what gets built, whether you start a company, lead a team, or learn to invest. I am still learning too, and I share what I can as I go.

How I am wired

Listen first

The best decisions I have made started with listening. I ask questions, pay attention to what people do as well as what they say, and let that change my first idea.

Take the chance

I do not need to feel completely ready to begin. I prepare, ask for advice, and make the best decision I can with what I know. Then I learn from what happens.

Share what I learn

When I learn something useful, I want to pass it on. I enjoy helping someone get started, giving them room to try things their own way, and seeing how far they take it.

What I am building toward

Now

Build my network

Meet more of the people already doing what I want to do, ask better questions, and keep those relationships going after the first conversation.

Grow Parkevo

Get the first pilot right, learn from how people actually use it, and give High Point a reason to recommend it.

Build my personal brand

Share what I am learning while I am learning it, and build a page people come back to.

Next

Expand Parkevo

Take what works at High Point to more campuses and institutions.

Grow the team

Bring in people with strengths I do not have and give them room to shape what we build.

Get in front of rooms

Start speaking at classes, panels, and events, and get better every time I do it.

Later

Mentor young women

Work with women building companies and stepping into leadership, and stay involved long enough to actually be useful.

Tell my story

Be honest about how this really went, so someone else can picture a version of it for herself.

Help women invest in themselves

Show women how to put money, time, and belief into their own skills, network, and confidence first.

What I am building

Parkevo

Co-Founder · December 2025 – present

Parkevo turns camera feeds into real-time, space-by-space parking visibility. The driver app is designed to show what is open and which spaces are standard, accessible, EV, or reserved. Operators can see how their facilities are used. Our cameras are live at High Point University, where officials are testing the dashboard while our engineers fine-tune the app before public launch. Evan Taylor leads strategy as Founder and CEO. I lead brand and marketing, institutional outreach, product testing, and campus adoption.

How we got here

Evan and I founded Parkevo in December 2025. We began by surveying drivers at High Point, then spent months talking with the people who run parking. Those conversations helped us figure out what each side actually needed before we committed to a pilot.

In April 2026, we won first place and $12,000 at the High Point University Business Plan Competition. We also went to e-Fest in Minneapolis and earned another $4,000. I spent the following months working on Parkevo full time, meeting operators and preparing for our first deployment.

By late August, cameras were live on our first lot at High Point. In September, we became finalists in Texas A&M's AI Venture Velocity Challenge. The next step is to see how people use the product and keep improving it from what we learn.

Campus Ambassador Program

Program lead · 2026 – present

I built our campus ambassador program to introduce Parkevo through students their peers know and trust. Ambassadors create content, answer questions, and bring back feedback before a wider launch.

  • Recruited ambassadors at High Point University
  • Created campaign guides and a clear process for collecting feedback
  • Designed a points and rewards system that recognizes their work

For Women Who Build

If you’re working on an idea of your own, I hope something here helps you move it forward. I share the decisions I’m making, what I’m learning as I go, and what I’d do differently.

What entrepreneurship has taught me

Ask the people who will use it

Customer discovery has taught me how much I can miss when I rely on my own assumptions. The people using a product know what helps them and what gets in their way. I want to get out, ask good questions, and take their answers seriously. There is always room to improve the idea and the business behind it.

Earn confidence with evidence

It is easier to ask someone to believe in an idea when I can show the work behind it. I have learned to come prepared with what we have tested, what the numbers tell us, and what we still need to figure out. That preparation helps me speak with confidence and gives other people a reason to trust what I am building.

Make the first move

Some opportunities start with a conversation I have to begin myself. Reaching out, asking for advice, or sharing an idea before it feels perfect has helped me meet people and learn things I would have missed. I am learning to take those chances, even when I do not feel completely ready.
